![]() Learn how to change how your board estimates work. As work’s completed, the percentage and corresponding blue line reduce, indicating how much work remains. The Y-axis represents the total amount of work committed to a sprint, measured in the estimation statistic you have configured for your board. Hover over the blue shaded area representing the remaining work. This makes it easy for you and your team to see how you’re tracking and if necessary, make changes. The sprint burndown calculates how many points or issues have been completed (done), and how many points or issues remain (to go). By frequently tracking your output against your goal, you can shift focus, maintain momentum, or take a moment to revel at your pace. The Burndown insight helps you keep an eye on your sprint progress as it’s happening. Make these updates in your backlog so that you can view data for this insight. You should change the start and end date, so it’s set as a time before the estimations were added. If you’ve added estimates after your sprint has started, you’ll need to update the sprint’s start date. Not seeing this insight?
